I am a dually licensed therapist (LCMHC, LADC) and have been blessed to work in several different treatment settings during my career including residential programs, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient programs, and private practice, as well as integrated locations in Primary Care Practices, Doorways and SPOKES for MAUD/MOUD/Medication Management, and Emergency Departments. I have a patient-centered approach and meet every individual with unconditional positive regard, empathy, and compassion. Some of the modalities I offer, as an eclectic counselor, are Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Expressive Art Therapies, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness based practices with a trauma informed approach. I have extensive experience with substance use disorders, underlying mental health conditions, maternal-child health, family systems, and am trained in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) and specialized during my graduate training in Expressive Art Therapy and child psychology. In my personal life, I enjoy most all sports, spending time with my family, and the outdoors.
